i think the cat which strays below my flat recognises me. i mean every time i see that cat when i leave for school, i'll call my mom to chase it away. and sick of donig it, my mom often screams at the cat. what happened last friday kinda amused me. i opened the door and the cat peeked at me. den it quickly ran down the stairs and waited for me to reach the bottom of the steps. when i reached, it quickly went up again. i hate to admit it, but i do find that action of the cat kinda adorable. =X

woo. finally the long awaited term break is here!!! no sch for one week.

sadly, it wouldnt be a very work-free one, esp with all the quizzes and assignments due once term starts. urgh!

anyway for the past 3 quizzes. a&p, human biochem & general optics. i can never make it. i went like "hey. i have seen this word before." or "oh man! i forgot wat the formula is!" or even better, "HUH?!". just have to treat these as a wake up call for me.

A HUGE SIGH OF RELIEF! two major stress factors are gone for the DOPT student. we're done with A&P quiz. and today we finished our human biochem quiz, which to me SUCKED BIG TIME. i already see myself getting called into her office. urgh! now, we got the formal report, CRS assignment, biochem presentation and general optics quiz. i gotta admit these things do cause stress but DEFINITELY not what we went through over the last few days.

today had a&p quiz. it was an easy paper, IF i had studied enough for it. i rmb coming across all the terms. but i dunno which chapters. i got them all mixed up. urgh. tml i got a biochem quiz. which is scarier. i dun even rmb most of my facts now. wait. i haven even finished reading them. haiz. must chiong!

stress ah! i havent really done much studying since week one. as a result, i gotta stuff 4 topics of A&P and human biochem into my head over the weekend. urgh!! to add to this, we all have got an oral presentation, CRS written assignment, formal report all due on the following week.

i am getting pretty much annoyed with my "new" spanish lessons. i mean ever since Arantxa went to Spain with Aroa, we were given a replacement teacher, who is mexican. FYI: mexican spanish has quite a no. of differences from spain spanish. to add to my annoyance, he doesnt teach much. its more like him answering questions of the more loud-spoken ones. and most of the time it ends up being a 1-1 thing. that very much explains why about 50% of the class population was absent.

on friday, i went to buy the general optics workbook which costed $32.50. the book consists of onli 197 pages. so if you actually went and photocopy it, (if u dun care about copyright stuff), it wud cost onli $6. i saw my $$$ flying away. =(

sherinah, if u're reading this, i am still waiting for an outing. i dun think hakim will come up with one class one anytime soon. we'll be lucky if we could go b4 his NS. =X
